Executive Board

President
James Brunner
James Brunner is the current Lodge President. He took over as President in February 2025. Jim has been with the Capitol Police since July of 2016 and currently holds the rank of Police Officer assigned to 2nd Platoon. Prior to joining the Capitol Police, Jim worked as an Officer in Dauphin and Adams Counties.

Vice President
Nicholas Bretz
Nick Bretz was elected as Vice President to begin his term in January of 2024 and has been an active Lodge 85 member since 2016. Nick obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology – Legal Studies from Pennsylvania State University in 2015. Nick joined the Capitol Police in 2016 and has since become part of the Special Response Team, Bicycle Unit, and became an instructor in Active Shooter Response, Defensive Tactics, and Firearms.


Recording Secretary
Jacob Levin
Jacob Levin joined Capitol Police in 2017. He played and active roll in the arbitration for the 2020 Contract.
